Our first storm this year. It doesn’t look too bad, and I’m hoping for the best. After Katrina hit New Orleans two weeks ago I think everyone is a little jumpy.
CFCC is closed tomorrow and Governor Easley declared a state of emergency for NC — a little premature of course. The storm is predicted to have a 20% chance of hitting Wilmington, but it’s moving so slowly — around 4 MPH right now — that nobody knows what to predict. I’ll head in to work tomorrow to shut down the servers, and then have the rest of the day off.
